Maybe so, but I have heard the exact same thing said about David Crosby, even back in the early 60’s.

Well, consider that that's coming from one of the most selfish assholes ever in the biz. Everyone that Crosby ever worked with now hates his guts and won't even speak to him.

Dance, his partner, also weaned herself off hard drugs. In 1989, they took in 14-year-old Drew Barrymore while she was battling alcohol and drug addiction after she became legally emancipated from her mother.
