Sad. Prayers.
“A good name is better than precious ointment, and the day of death better than the day of one’s birth.Do not weep much except that it is sad to be parted but a short time. A fine discipler passing sooner that might have been expected, but according to the Lord’s plan for his earthly escape from a temporal persecuted existence.
It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of men; and theliving will lay it to heart.
Sorrow is better than laughter, for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better” (Eccl. 7:1-3 AV).
God bless our retention of his teaching and example, eh?
