He has a minor case. Just based on age he is in a high risk group. Even Omicron isn’t so mild for unvaccinated people over 70.
That age may be highest risk, but from what I’ve seen, it’s still not a high risk.
My mom had it along with us, at 83, and she was fine. As was her more elderly friend, who despite having lots of problems that year (including when she was found to have COVID when going in ambulance again), had no real problem with it.
(Yes, my MIL got it and died in a week…but many things to say about that, including her high obesity.)
We have to stop acting like this disease is the worst thing ever.
