He’s right, but it’s now wrong to say what is right.
Yes, but I will go further:
There is no such thing as a biologically functional form of human sexuality that can occur between two members of the same binary sex. What transpires between two persons of the same biological sex is merely eroticism; hence the proper term for such activity is homoeroticism.
The raison d’etre for the very concept of sexuality is reproduction: The term originated in contrast to asexuality: sexual reproduction versus asexual reproduction. It did not originate primarily to denote eroticism or attraction or identity; it arose to describe a biological form of reproduction (procreation). Period. Any other assertion is a distortion to create propaganda.
Monogamous Heterosexuality is natural and real; all else is illusion or delusion. A woman may (hypothetically) engage in intercourse (orgy) with fifty men in one night. If she conceives a child, that issue will have one father – not fifty fathers; the child’s male genetic heritage will not be sub-divided into fifty separate modules.
Monogamous: mono + gamete: one haploid male gamete (sperm) + one haploid female gamete (ovum) = one diploid zygote.
Two biological males or two biological females cannot naturally meet that criterion. Ironically, and not out of any meritorious motive, William Clinton was correct: So-called oral sex is not sex: Such activity is certainly erotic and sensual and intimate, but it is not actual sex, and can never result in sexual reproduction.
I advise all conservatives – especially Christians – to stop using the ersatz terms of homosexual and homosexuality; using such phony words only yields to the enemy valuable debating territory from the outset.
