I knew Bob Bogle whom I met in the 1980’s. He was one of the nicest guys you’d ever want to meet. He passed away in 2009. He and Wilson were friends from the beginning and it was said they never had an argument. Rest in peace, Don Wilson. The Ventures were a wonderful pioneer group in electric guitar music.

Brings back great memories of my early guitar-playing years trying to emulate the Venures Sad to hear the news, but life goes on. May his soul bask in the music he so loved.
