The big question is why did AP run this story? What is the purpose. I guarantee it’s not because of the human interest angle. They are trying to either set some narrative, of feed in to an existing one.

While I agree with you….sometimes the AP guys have to file “something” every couple of days. They are fun pictures. It could be that simple.
