“Joe Burrow”

Thought during the championship year, this guy is great! Will it translate to the NFL? Seems like it. Will Trevor Lawrence translate? Maybe. But some of the worst interceptions I’ve ever seen in the NFL this year.

Rodgers is now 0-4 against the 49ers in playoff games.

Am I biased blind Green Bay fan for thinking he should have 2 or 3 Super Bowls by now?

“Brady”

Brady did a commercial in which his heir apparent was Baker Mayfield. Don’t hate me, Cleveland fans, but I can’t believe that mediocre of a quarterback does as many TV commercials as he does. Does Progressive want their money back? They can afford it.

The media in Chicago is convinced that Justin Fields is the next coming of Tom Brady, and that everything that went wrong in his rookie year was somebody else’s fault. From what I saw, Justin Fields in the second coming of Virgil Carter, or Black Jack Concannon, or Rudy the Rifle Bukich. But what do I know?

I don’t know what more you could ask of the Green Bay defense. They gave up 2 field goals, and if it weren’t for the special teams, the score would have been at worst 13-6 in the Packer’s favor.

“Justin Fields”

Always like to give a rookie a second year, but seems injury prone. I don’t see him being that great. Dalton, 10 million. Man, decent backup pays well.

San Francisco 49ers defeat Green Bay Packers in the NFC division round 13-10.

What was Aaron Rodgers' final game as a Packer?

I'll take "Failed Super Bowl Runs" for $400...

Holding Aaron Rodgers to 10 points is amazing.

“Green Bay defense”

Looked better tonight with some of the guys back. Some runs but not gashed like Cleveland did to us, 200 yards. Without the blocked punt does SF see the end zone? Do they lose 10 or 13-3 because they have to go for a touchdown? Matt LaFleur can win 13 during season but can he win the big one in the playoffs? He’ll get new special teams coach. At some point do they say: Can’t win the big one. Need more than 13 and maybe one playoff win.
Think Aaron will definitely come back now and probably to GB.

I’m doubtful about Rodgers. Green Bay will be way over the cap in ‘22. I don’t see them keeping him without a pay cut, partly because other guys have to be paid as well, and partly because I can’t see him being worth the kind of money he got on his last contract extension. He can still play, but his best days are behind him. Question is, would he accept a cut to stay in a place where he doesn’t appear to be very happy?

Guess they won’t be able to pay what Adams will demand. Green Bay fans like me have been spoiled for 30 years at quarterback. But oh my goodness, Jordan Love at Kansas City. Is he capable of being a good NFL quarterback?

Brady (at least for some time now) has Gronk.

(I wouldn’t call Gronk intangible to his face.) ;-)

Green Bay tight ends last night. Fumble. Big drop when momentum was needed. UnGronklike. Will admit Adams makes some great catches near the ground.

Good lesson if you are a warm weather team. Get a kicker who has spent years kicking field goals in Chicago.

With this win, Jimmy G. moves a big step closer to a face-to-face matchup with his old team-mate, Tom Brady.

Garoppolo spent four years with the Patriots as Brady's back-up. He must have learned quite a bit about Brady;s strengths and weaknesses over those years.

Are the constellations aligning to give us this very unique pairing of NFL quarterbacks? Adds an extra twist to tomorrow's game between the Bucs and the Rams.

Garropolo has a messiah complex, thinking he can salvage every play when he should check down or throw the ball away. He throws flatfooted by turning his hips only, stares down his receiver and has a weak arm limiting his range to crossing routes over the middle throwing into tight windows resulting in tipped balls and interceptions. Yes, he’s playing hurt but he’s always hurt being brittle. He’s a likeable guy who’s made millions as a subpar QB in a sport lacking in quality QBs.

It seemed like he took 4 steps. You are correct. He could have had breakfast as well.
