Yeah, the Black Death during the middle ages was also a "Thing". As far as I've observed, I would still prefer the Coof.
Well, if you look at the world wide response, and listen to the hysterical rhetoric coming from the powers that be in the US, you'd think the COOF was the 2nd coming of the Black Death...unless you comply with everything they say.
Here's the thing that perplexes me. Through all of the discussion, I never hear the Faucists and jab apologists explain the logic of it all in the face of a less that 1% death rate, with the overwhelming number of the reported deaths happening in people with 4 or more co-morbidities and the average age of death higher than the national life expectancy. Or the logic of jabbing people whose threat surface for the COOF is statistically as close to zero as one can get. When that's mentioned they go completely silent, or call you an anti-science vax-denier, or some facsimile there of.
First time ever I can find where the poor efficacy of a drug/treatment has been blamed on those that have not taken it, and not the drug/treatment itself.
