New polls conducted by the Trafalgar Group show Joe Biden’s approval numbers still in the cellar, and congressional Democrats lagging behind Republicans by over 13 points on the generic ballot.
Of the 1,083 likely general election voters surveyed between 01/12/22 and 01/15/22, just 38.7 percent approved of Biden’s performance and 59.2 percent disapproved. Nearly 50 percent of voters said they strongly disapprove of the job Biden is doing.
Among Republicans, a mere 10.1 percent approve, and 88.3 percent disapprove. Biden also polled poorly with unaffiliated voters as well, garnering only 30.8 approval versus 67.7 percent disapproval.
Biden still enjoys majority support among Democrats with 71.7 percent approving of his job performance, and 25.6 percent disapproving.
A December Trafalgar poll saw similarly poor numbers, with just 36.3 percent of Americans approving of Biden’s performance in the White House, and 59.1 percent disapproving.
Last week, a Quinnipiac University survey found that only 33 percent of voters approved of Biden’s job performance.
Trafalgar’s party preference poll, conducted between 01/12/22 and 01/15/22, resulted in very ominous numbers for congressional Democrats.
The pollster asked 1,077 likely general election voters, “if the election for Congress were held today, which candidate would you vote for?”
Respondents said they preferred Republicans over Democrats 55.7 percent to 42.2 percent.
Biden’s first year in office was marked by a series of self-inflicted disasters and failures, including his botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, the worsening COVID pandemic that he promised to end, inflation, high gas prices, the border crisis, his executive overreach, his increasingly authoritarian behavior, his intentionally divisive policies, and his declining mental state.
Report Ad Former President Trump responded to Biden’s long and meandering press conference Wednesday on the The Mark Levin Show, agreeing that Biden has indeed made enormous progress—”destroying our country.”
“When you look at the border with millions of people coming in, when you look at inflation, you look at no more energy independence, we have a much different country than we had a year ago,” Trump said.
They'll have to get rid of Kamala Harris first. Willie Brown might have some dirt. Problem is that if Harris is gone, it's 50-50 Senate. So a deal would have to be made. Joe Manchin becomes Vice President. Governor Jom Justice agrees to appoint a Democrat to replace Joe Manchin. Republicans in Congress vote to confirm Joe Manchin. Then they get rid of Biden easily. Manchin becomes President. This is what they would have done back in the old days. But the Democrats see Manchin's ideology to be too far "right" so this will never happen. So they'll rather go down with U.S.S. Biden in the meantime.
The total destruction of America and the American way of life.
Substitute H. Clinton for Manchin and you have it pegged.
Republicans will never go for that. Not even Mitt Romney.
I hope, by November the Biden approval is ~10% and rep vs dems like 80% to 20%.
Hope you are right. Consider we have been betrayed more than once by senate pubbies. There are two people that dims think they have a chance with, H. Clinton and Ms. Obama. Look for the current VP to leave office soon, before the mid terms. Then Brandon will be dumped. Look for the new president to move right to confuse the foolish electorate.
Hillary is radioactive. Michelle loves to live in luxury so she’ll never do it. So that leaves Joe Manchin. Another possibility would be Kyrsten Sinema. But they are not popular with the base. So that’s the catch here. Need to find someone who is somewhat popular with the rank and file but at the same time, won’t be rejected by the Republicans. Every other Democrat is way too far too the left of the American People.
Come on. There is no way the Republicans should be a part of this game. Kamala is VP. We’re stuck with her come hell or high water. People get the government they deserve so don’t tinker with the voters will. We ALL asked for it.
Agreed. They better hope that Joe Biden can make it to 11/24, then. Kamala Harris will be far worse if she becomes President, I think no one is going to debate that. Even the Democrats realize that and obviously, they are nervous about it.
President Kamala will give our allies overseas a backbone. They’ll realize they’re better off on their own since they’re now in the process of learning how dangerous an unstable American government makes the rest of the world.
