A record number of manatees have arrived at Blue Spring State Park (and you can watch them live) Posted By Alex Galbraith on Tue, Jan 18, 2022 at 1:26 pm
It's been a catastrophically bad year for Florida's manatees, but they are still out in force at Central Florida's Blue Spring State Park right now. Webcams trained on manatee stomping grounds show massive amounts of the floating potatoes and state symbols vibing in the stable waters of the spring as winter continues.
The park reported more than 600 manatees in their waters today, which Save the Manatee calls a new record.
If you want to see what they're getting up to down there, an underwater cam is also available.
They’re called personatees.
Ted Kennedy aka “The Swimmer” reincarnated.
😱Oh the huge manatee!
Barbara!
Wow! This is series.
“floating potatoes”
How apt.
What all do they do in that pristine water?
Global warming? Covid? The school MUST be culled, too many manatees will destroy the planet.
Just when we start to get a handle on the human population, the manatee population explodes! /s
STink horribly.
We live on a sailboat in southern Florida, and, you can tell when one is near.
Love the beasts, but, they’re stinky!
How many tourists do they eat every season?
For later.
