Holy crap, that car was totaled and as fast as that guy was going, they never saw him coming.
I did a rough calculation and he was doing approx. 175 ft. per second and in just two seconds time (not even time for the car to complete the left turn) the guy traveled over a hundred yards, the length of a football field.
So when they started the turn on the green, there was nothing there then bam!
Lol. Agreed.
My dad told me a similar story that happened to him during his college years after serving in the Marines during WW-II. He was driving cross country from Detroit to California alone with his German shepherd in his convertible.
A biker was following him then started harassing him and when the biker pulled up alongside dad with something in his hand somewhere out in the desert, the biker ended up somewhere out in the desert and dad just kept going.
Just damn!
Bastard. He could’ve killed those people in the car too.
Looks like his pants and shoes were blown off upon impact with the sidewalk.
His pants were coming off while he was still in the air. Me thinks he was the type who let them hang low.
That is about right. At ~100MPH that is a football field length every 2 seconds..
He went cartwheeling through the air at 100mph (leaving the crumpled motorcycle behind). It was an amazing feat! I hope he was conscious so that he could experience that “once in a lifetime” event. /s
Died without his pants.
That’s a shame.
There is a computer repair store right there and I bet it is their camera. I drive down Roscoe to Fallbrook many times so I know that corner. He landed on his head but I bet his neck snapped when he hit the car and was dead right away.
