That's all right! As one "old geezer" to another, that sort of thing is bound to happen more and more frequently, as senescence gradually sets in.

Stephen Hillenburg - the creator and (for the first three seasons) showrunner of the series - was a certifiable creative / artistic genius with a real background in marine sciences. Such a tragedy that he died so young (of ALS).
But I don't recall having referenced either Spongebob or the Krusty Krab - rather, my mention of the Junior College of American Samoa and its team motto "Go, Land Crabs!" was an obvious reference to the alma mater of "Saul Goodman" of the Netflix series "Better Call Saul."
