True. He could just be lying. He lies all the time.

But also, the Democrats are trying to pass everything in big omnibus or resolution bills. Some of those particular items could have passed on their own.

I doubt anybody was saying, "Joe, I'd give you everything you want, but I'd be primaried if I did."

Heck, they'd deserve to be thrown out of office if they gave Joe everything he wanted.
