The cells merely make the specific antibody IN VITRO, ie, in the laboratory, which then, when injected, attaches to the virus and neutralizes it. The protein is then metabolized and eliminated from you body, like any other.
Monoclonals have been around for decades. They are a protein, identical to thousands your lymphocytes create every day against a wide range of antigens, NOT nucleic acids like mRNA.
One can argue about the HEK fetal cell issue with these, but, please, quit with the fear mongering about cancer blowing up, etc.”
2. “She lost credibility with me when she explicitly stated that HEK-293 was made from killing 293 babies. It probably also wasn’t just one baby as we’re often told. However, telling a story that 293 individual babies were killed in order to create that cell line is making us (who are supposed to be on the side of truth) not even credible. If we want to be credible we need to be sure about the facts (and not even exaggerate).
Abortion is wrong and the methods that were used to obtain the HEK cells from an aborted fetus (or fetuses) was cruel and evil but we should still stick to the facts and not spread misinformation.
I’ve read a number of articles on the significance of 293 in HEK-293 but perhaps this is one of the more elucidating ones that is well footnoted. And yes, likely a lot of babies were killed before they got the cells they wanted to work with but please don’t go around telling people the 293 means 293 individual babies were killed!”
