Someone ought to be investigating shy nursing homes that were, and possibly still are, allowed to refuse to take the patients back, took them anyway.
Here in NYS I’m betting Albany either threatened and/or bribed the directors of the facilities into doing it. I know of only one nursing home that refused.
Project Veritas, here’s a story for you. Find out how Albany got those facilities to take patients back when Trump ensured they didn’t have to do it.
Two more questions:
Were dual eligibles, Medicare/Medicaid, sent back more frequently than patients on Medicare or on Medicare with MediGap?
And was/is the mortality rate, at least the reported mortality rate (trust but verify) for dual eligibles higher than for the other seniors.
