A guest on the Tucker Carlson show outlined the answer to this question {Direct Rumble Link} which has been stated in these pages and a multitude of conversations for well over a year. Why has there been this massive disproportionate push for vaccination against a virus which, all things considered, is NOT that deadly?
For two years, as we have watched the various governments around the world pushing the COVID-19 vaccination, many have asked this question? The demand and effort is wildly disproportionate to the risk. So why has this vaccination program been so severely pushed, including the mandates and requirements that everyone must follow in order to participate in society? Why this scale of effort?

I hate to disagree with a great FReeper - but there ARE public health issues that are wrapped up in COVID.
A lot of the political issues have nothing to do with public health - and my perspective is that of giving clinical care to critically ill people for the last 22 months - but a rapidly spreading respiratory infection that causes death and disability IS a public health issue, and however much mismanagement has occurred doesn’t change that.
An equally large, rhetorical question is why the blackout on the success Ivermectin has had in stopping covid in uttar Pradesh India. A population of 204 million and each day they have a single-digit death rate and have had only 23,000 death. Yet nobody seems to care. Even here at Free Republic. The strangest thing I’ve ever encountered.

When the entire world went into lockdown the week of March 16, 2020 and the virus came from near a virology lab I assumed it was a leak of some sort of bioweapon.
The reason was every country big and small, rich and poor, all shut down at the same time, as if intelligence agencies were all talking to one another.
Beyond the push for money and control, there is an evil behind this. We do not know how bad the side effects will be yet, but likely they are early death and sterilization.

Yes. It’s a mental illness, but unfortunately in this environment, people who have it can do very well.
Narcissistic Control Freaks is my term for these mental cases. And governments are permeated with them. Why? Because that’s where the control levers are.

I have wondered about this every day for two years now. Why the fuss.
And why is China still locking down large cities over a 99 percent survivable virus? They have to know it's not good for business -- the CCP's business especially.

And it just occurred to me how diabolical that is.
Doctors are one group of people that almost everyone has historically trusted. They are trusted to have your best interests at heart and to act on behalf of those.
Many people trust their doctors to a point of fault, thinking they can do no wrong and so just do what they are told to do by their doctors, who they think know better than them.
The virus is, if this was just about the virus.
But it’s not and the power grab is far from over.
