No, that's not true at all, nor did I say that it was. I have no idea whether Trump actually said anything negative about DeSantis. I simply said that if he perceives DeSantis as a political rival, it would not be inconsistent with his past actions to say negative things about him.
That does not mean that he actually did say that, though. We just don't know, and I personally don't think it matters anyway. If there is a primary battle in 23/24, it will not be decided by minor quibbling that leaked in 2022.

She was at the rally last night, and President Trump said how great she was. So if this whole thing is fake, Rogers might not want to throw fuel on that fire.
Truth does matter. It is NOT irrelevant to state that if someone states a rumor publicly and repeats it, then we must just throw up our arms and say “oh I hope they say it’s false or else it’s a huge possibility!!!”

I tend to live in the present and actual proof for this feud is non-existent. I believe what is real and not “what if’s.”
I'm not sure why so many people seem uncomfortable with the idea that more information is needed before you can reach a conclusion. Maybe it's social media or whatever, but it's like you "MUST" have a firm opinion on everything no matter how much or little hard information actually exists.
Ultimately, the truth will come out. Either there were be truly public statements from one or other taking shots, or the nominating process will begin and conclude with no such shots. Until then...any reaction to the rumors is premature.
So because there is no proof of actual statements proving a feud, but we do have proof of a RINOS and nevertrumpwrs and a media that hates both of these leaders and would love to see them fail, we can’t reach a conclusion?
