“The Military Industrial Congressional Complex,” Macgregor says, “seems to be more powerful than anyone who occupies the office of the presidency.”

On Ukraine, "you’ve got a lot of people who see profit in this conflict… the arms industry," Macgregor says. "The defense industrial complex sees this as an opportunity to spend a great deal of money on a whole range of armaments that they otherwise might not be able to sell."
