Moose will use the railroad tracks as trails in Alaska, in the winter.....Sometimes that doesn't work out so well for them....

There was a show on TV (may still be on - I don’t watch TV any more) about trains in AK. It was an interesting show. The one thing they did not want to do was hit a moose on the tracks ... there was a definite “moose hazard” for the trains.
