Mine was fever and fatigue, and oddly sore eyes. All was over in 4 days. My daughter’s was a fever and a cough—the cough gone in a week.
All this just makes me despise those who have, over the decades, occupied and destroyed an education system that was once the envy of the world. It's been a gradual and insipid spreading poison which, I'm even more embarrassed to say, elements of my "boomer" generation introduced.
I had something a couple of weeks ago—no clue what it was—with the one oddly sore and red eye.
Severe headache for two days, fatigue for about a week felt like a nasty hangover and didn’t want to hear any noise or see anything bright—also loss of appetite for several days.
But—no fever, no cough, no runny nose, no sore throat.
I refused to get tested, refused to see a doctor—and I recovered just fine.
It felt like someone put tacks in my eyelids, every time I blinked.
Fortunately, I was sleeping about 20 hours a day, so I didn’t blink that much.
I will never know if it was Covid, because there where no tests to be had here, but my husband and I were just flattened by whatever it was.
I had sore, red eyes too.
