Since you have been there, I will ask you this:
Is it unusual for someone to hike that trail alone and so close to a cliff? Makes you wonder if she was just a little too independant or if she was trying to do away with herself?
The only climbing she will be doing for now is trying to climb out of bed once she’s out of traction. She was what? 44 y/o? Her body will never be the same.
When I used to hike it, I only saw groups of people hiking it. It is too dangerous to hike alone, although I guess some people do it. It only takes one slip to fall a long distance.
