Djokovic is there to defend his title. Sandgren can only be worth the money and be the Riddler or catwoman or WTF ever if he beats Djokovic. I fail to see Djokovic as a COVID threat playing a sport on a court, social distanced from the audience, his opponent, and the refs (even the ball retriever’s) This isn’t a Djokovic issue when there are already over 100,000 Austrialian COVID cases, and he’s being tested with tests that don’t work, and are being manipulated by a tyrannical government. Focus on the real bad guys!
Ok. But Djokovic broke a lot of rules, like traveling with COVID in December. which he took responsibility for and apologized by saying he made some “bad choices”. He Incorrectly or dishonestly completed the VISA docs. It’s a real shame that he can’t compete in what could be a record breaking grand slam tournament, maybe he should have followed the rules, as draconian as they are. Other players did.
Oh and I fail to see the threat also, it is ridiculous. But it’s their rules.
