Deranged man pushes Asian woman to death at Times Square subway station

A deranged homeless man allegedly shoved an Asian woman to her death in front of an oncoming subway train Saturday morning in Times Square, police and sources told The Post.

The horrifying episode unfolded at around 9:40 a.m. when the unidentified woman was struck by a southbound R train at the Times Square station on West 42nd Street and Broadway, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

The attack appeared entirely random, with the man just walking up to the woman and pushing her, sources said.

The 40-year-old victim was with two other women when she was pushed, a police source said.

A man walked into a transit precinct on Canal Street and confessed, sources said.

He was identified as Martial Simon, 61, with no known address according to law enforcement sources. *** (Curtis)Sliwa said. “Again, an Asian gets pushed in front of a train. How many times does this have to happen? Asians are being attacked every which way.” *** Through Dec. 12 of 2021, straphangers had been pushed onto the tracks 27 times, up from 25 during the same period in 2020, according to the NYPD. ***

When the killer saw the subway train moving through the 471 miles of mostly underground, electric railroad tracks, wending their way through sewer lines, pipes bringing fresh water from the Catskills, electric lines, gas lines, steam pipes, all crisscrossing the island of Manhattan invisible to pedestrians above, which island is connected to the mainland by tunnels and bridges which could never be built today, the thought of the white supremacy that built and that still maintains this wonder of vision and engineering and daring and enterprise made him temporarily insane.

There was a news story a few months back that a ‘disproportinate’ amount of hate crimes involved black perps. Implied that racist police were were mis-reporting hate crimes, etc.
