Or, I suspect, in any Fortune 500 public company these days. The PC atmosphere was suffocating when I left it, thankfully never to return. Idiots who lack any kind of critical thinking processes and hipsters a few years out of business school running things they have no clue about, and who will have 2 or 3 more jobs on their resume before their legacy of bad decisions in the present one is fully known.
Of course these are the same people running the country now.
I worked at Nike....a bunch of effing hypocrites.
I am gleefully out of this mess now but I worry about my investments with these children running things.
PS, instead of counting years to be able to retire I count years for something else now.
hipsters ......... more than any other demographic on the planet, will be the death of all that is good. That is, as long as they can continue to insulate themselves from it.
It’s not that they’re in the room with the top dogs at the World Economic Forum, the Bilderberg meetings, CFR, or any other globalist type of organization. It’s because they are the loyal minions of everyone in those rooms. The foot soldiers that vote for certain folks, just because.
They love censorship as long as their stuff isn’t being censored. They love immigration as long as those immigrants aren’t flooding their hipster neighborhoods, micro breweries, restaurants and coffee shops.
They’re part of the “everyone gets a trophy crowd”, they can do no wrong, they believe every word their professors say and think they’re the smartest folks in the room.
Alexandria Ocasio Cortez......ladies and gentlemen.
Unfortunately, they have been able to weasel and snake their way into everything. Just look at damn near every commercial on tv. Nothing but hipsters.
These are the types of people he’s talking about.
You guys need to start your own companies with a few key folks, keep it small and offer outstanding products that work
set your own schedules do not work with huge customers controlling your schedule or whatever
give your excellent products as is to small businesses and mid size, whatever you consider those to be, and dont let them dictate your timelines
that doesnt mean dont take feedback or input, that means stay in control of what you’re doing and if you feel stuff isnpressuring you to do things you’re not ready for or aren’t as important as other things dont do it
the worst thing that can happen is you turn into thencompany you couldn’t stand working for before
and you have to stay in control if you also want to enjoy what you do
