Full disclosure - I might have been ‘ill’ with Omicron Tues - Thursday of this week. I presented with a chest cough (clears throat) and a [barely] sore throat. I had a gravely voice due to phlegm-induced irritation, no fever, no back ache, no loss of smell or taste.
I wore a mask when I went to the store as a courtesy to others. It’s only polite, and I know how to wear an N-95 mask. THIS week, it made sense to wear one while out.
Now it’s Friday. I am fine. Took a 10 ml dose of generic cough syrup with an expectorant this AM. I am asymptomatic today.
Maybe I DID just have a cold ...
Life needs to go on now.
WHAT???? You didn’t immediately run out & stand in a line for 4 hours (or more) to get a test and find out whether or not you tested positive for COVID???? /sarc
I personally think your response to whatever it was you had was reasonable - 2 years ago, this is what most people with symptoms like you had would be doing. In November, I had ‘something’ that included more symptoms (like aches/chills) - I stayed home & treated myself (did take some ivermectin right away to be on the safe side). I don’t know how we return to ‘sanity’ among the masses .... if ever.
I had a headache this week, add me to the Omicron list.
