The woman in the picture is GOP Orange County Deputy District Attorney Kelly Ernby, who DIED from COVID (or something else, but she has passed) on Jan4.

Showing you reality is not guilting you - it’s doing you a favor. Suggesting that you be honest with yourself is not guilting. But you don’t need to thank me. :)

I’m not saying you shouldn’t do cartwheels over your enemies misfortunes, (like they do at our misfortunes) but pretending you don’t take a certain amount of pleasure out of it is what I find hypocritically holier-than-thou and frankly, totally unnecessary.

It’s perfectly fine to enjoy some schadenfreude. They do it and we do it.

Again, it’s the pretension that we are so much more “morally righteous” in that regard than they are that that I find disingenuous and self-deluding.
