Many people have seen shadow people. The Greeks even had gods they called “the Shadows”. I have even seen shadow animals.

Lots of physiological reasons for seeing ‘shadows’ - and since even the ancient greeks were ALSO PEOPLE, subject to the same foibles.

I know when I’m sleep-deprived when I start to see little dark flitting things like mice along the edges of my vision.

Sometimes I see small shadow critters and bugs. Then they turn out to be floaters.
