True but harsh — the woman was mentally ill per “authorities” cited in the article. Alligator attack is a horrible way to go. I hope she turns up alive somewhere.
Actually, the alligator will usually drag you underwater and you will die because you drown. They don't eat you until you're already dead. That's a blessing.
