In the case of Mercy Hospital systems (midwest), they started as The Sisters of Mercy (group of compassionate nuns) and got taken over and turned into a big corporation which now gives no mercy. Period. They are awful. The administrators lie to the politicians about covid numbers etc. adn fool local governments. Getting harder to fool some. But it is what it is.
For sure its all changed,group-think among doctors is not always productive. ITs sad to see how easy it is to compromise those who were supposed to practice by a do no harm mentality,guess that’s over as well.
