I agree with you regarding the Black pope.
Also I never took a vow to obey the pope.
Alot of the troubles today are because priests took a vow to obey their superiors. It made them passive.
I believe that you have a beautiful, loving truth telling church. And I’m pleased that you defended yourself. I just worry about your eternal soul. It has to miss the sacraments.
Sacraments remain regardless of where are you travel in life. The Catholic Church ruined it themselves and have no one else to blame. From time to time I do step back into that church: weddings, funerals and the occasional Christmas Eve my mother begs me to go to with her. As for a regular Sunday service, never again and haven’t for over 40 years.
My distain occurred when I was a youngster attending catechism classes. My church had hired an awesome younger guitar playing priest. Not only did the kids connect with him, a lot of the 20-30 something parents did as well. He never did Sunday service. He was kind of like a youth pastor of sorts. He lasted about three months because the elders felt threatened.
They fired him. When I found that out, I told my parents that I would finish my confirmation journey and then I was done.
All Catholic churches take their cues from Rome. This pope is a heretic and has ulterior motives and it doesn’t bode well for the future of the church.
Churches die without the young.
