Let’s say Trump gets in. What’s he going to do with the corrupt FBI, CIA, DOJ and a CRT Army? How does he protect himself?
Very FIRST order of business is to transfer EVERY damn department of government across the country!! DIVIDE AND CONQUER!! Education goes to Mississippi where the kids have the lowest scores!! Agriculture goes to Iowa!! FBI needs to be disbanded completely!! Homeland security goes to Texas where the border is out of control!! The ONLY thing that stays in DC is the Pentagon!! These bastards don’t want to transfer GREAT this will also SHRINK THE BEAST!!
Well, it all depends on his resolve, and how willing he is to endure the attacks of the federal bureaucracy, Congress, the media, and the lawfare from the left. Last time around he caved to that pressure at some very key points and it resulted in some disasters for him.
If he doesn’t cave to that pressure he could exert his power in a lot of ways that might seem unusual nowadays but are completely within the authority of the President. All the Executive Branch is under his control, he could dissolve any of those agencies and create new ones with the stroke of a pen. He is also the Commander-in-Chief and can remove any military officer and promote anyone else to command with the stroke of a pen. He can declassify and unilaterally release any information that has ever been classified by the federal government. There are even many methods he could use to circumvent Congressional intervention in things like appointments to certain positions. All this depends on how much pushback he is willing to weather.
The Executive Branch may be comparatively the weakest branch of government, but in the Presidency is still the most amount of power invested in any one person in the entire government. Most simply choose not to use that power, or to use it very carefully.
