Thanks for the heads up. We don't use Saltines much, but when we do, it's usually for my wife who has something of a touchy gut and she needs to eat something. I've seen what looks like Mexican Crackers at HEB. I passed on them this weekend, but maybe we'll try them out.
We usually get the "Fresh Snacks" Saltines which has them packed in eight separate stacks that are shorter (of course, less total weight than the standard long stacks). Like I said, we don't eat them all that often, and the shorter stacks allow the unopened crackers to stay fresh longer.
Tell your wife to try Carr’s Rosemary Crackers. Rosemary is good for settling the tummy, and those things are delicious. Get an airtight container to keep them in. I keep mine in a Weck canning jar, and seal it with the FoodSaver.
