Yesterday one of my neighbors began exaggerating what Justice Sotomayor had said and claimed that hundreds of thousands of children were hospitalized and seriously ill and many were on ventilators. I said under my breath that this was pure propaganda. It turned into an Invasion of the Body Snatchers moment. The entire group attacked me and I had to leave. I realized that none were willing to listen to anything approaching a reasonable conversation. After that they all glared at me while I did yard work. I live amongst easily misled idiots.
