Yeah, in my branch of the service I sure never saw anyone from his ethnic group in SE Asia that I was aware of. Same with stateside duty either mid-late 60s. It was a standing joke at the time, their invisibility.

Roger Snyder - KIA - didn’t know him but he lived next door to my cousin in Baltimore

Alan Labowitz - B52 combat pilot
Lt. Col. - USA, POL commander, II Corps up to Pleiku region
CMDR. Paul Frommer - Tet in Saigon
CMDR. Norman - Light Cruiser commander, Gulf of Tonkin/NVN ops, WW2 vet
