There are ischemic (lack of blood flow) and hemorrhagic (brain bleed) strokes. as with most things strokes come in different forms with different causes
I think that is the best description I’ve heard. He actually experienced several brain bleeds over a period of months or years.
Having high blood pressure his entire life he likely had weakened his vessels and in combination with the prescribed blood thinners slowly killed him.
