Stopping rejection is the problem.
And then there is the problem of pig viruses...which could jump the species barrier after being transplanted and cause epidemics.

those drugs suppress your immune system and you need to be on them forever
better to try to develop the tech to regrow a persons own organs to greatly reduce rejection risk and stay off those drugs
who knows if someday you cannot get them anymore...
