In Hawaiian water there are many very large tiger sharks, They mostly just cruise around looking for easy meals and carrion to clean up. Once in a while, one will show a sudden very aggressive streak , grab someone and rip them to pieces. Almost as upon a shark whim. Surfers and spearfishermen in Hawaii know this. Mainland haoles are often oblivious to the danger. Perhaps the ultra-wealthy deploy former frogmen bodyguards with bang sticks into the drink while they foil surf up above?
