Do the dairies in your area sell direct to consumer? It might be something worth making a few phone calls to find out.

Some do. This is the Soviet of Washington, they have all kinds of dumbassed regulations on dairy operations, so many just stay in their lane like good little producers do. After all, the apparatchik is watching.

I personally don’t drink milk, was allergic to the stuff as a kid and after I grew out of my allergic condition when I reached puberty, I never developed a taste for it. The kids are grown and it’s just me and the wife who drinks the stuff like water.

I think I’ll try and find a dairy to buy directly from, that makes more sense. The last gallon of milk I bought was almost $4.50 a gallon. I’d rather give the money directly to the rancher than the milk cartel.
