My all time favorite (if you can call it that) was when 2 brothers were shot dead by a man they were trying to rob and a relative protested that ‘they wuz jes’ tryin’ tuh git money for clothes’.
Sick criminals....
Sounds like “clothes make the man” and they were denied them by American systemic racism (short of getting a job and saving their salary).
