Yep there is still much not understood about this COVID 19 pandemic. For instance what is the genetic reason some when exposed never become infect, others become infected but recover, why do some become infected and die? Sounds like simplistic questions but the answers would be very instructive. Its also obvious that while IMHO the vaccines have been a huge benefit to many, COVID 19 will not be defeated as was polio, small pox or even measles with vaccines. It will naturally come to an end when a less virulent highly communicable variant (possibly omicron) goes through the population, renders immunity and the more virulent variants die out for a lack of hosts.
