I’ve seen enough footage to know I would have left feeling ripped off. I still believe that the Stones at RFK was the worse concert I ever attended, Stevie Wonder was good, but the Stones sounded really baaaad.

Never saw em, but Jim always seemed more of a poet philosopher than a serious musician. He was all about the Beat movement, Neal Cassidy, Burroughs and those guys.

I think Ray was brilliant - I saw a video of him describing the inspiration for Riders and it was magnificent. Would have liked to have seen the Doors at their best. Great tunes: LA Woman, Crystal, The End, 5:1, Texas Radio, Madly, Soul Kitchen.

Appreciate Jim’s artistic side, but I identify more with the Admiral.
