I noted already that there’s legitimate reasons for killing wolves. But there’s only so many of any given species. Cheering on their destruction doesn’t sit well with me, whatever you think of it.

I have to say, it certainly doesn’t apply to everyone, but a definite segment of people who argue in favor of exterminating predators are snowflakes who just want to bumble around formerly wild places free of the potential danger posed by wildlife.

Clueless.

In BC the native Americans are Air lifting out pregnant caribou, desperately trying to save one of the many decimated herds.
Wolves destroy everything for everyone.

These wolves aren’t the native species.

They’re an imported, voracious, invasive species. About half again (or more) bigger than the original native wolf.

Re: 29 - best post of the thread.

The same FReepers who applaud extirpating wolves, an apex predator, may be some of the same whiners that wonder why deer, elk, etc look in such rough condition as natural predators are removed and species that they preyed upon have a greater probability of irruptive population cycles.

Rifle carrying farmers that shoot wolves on their property in Montana are snowflakes according to dandyboy. Wow - that is rich.

I invite you to tell that to them face to face, instead of from your condo in dupont circle or some such place.
