The China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) announced the anticipated completion of its space station and more crewed space missions and cargo flights this year, as well as the launch of the Space Launch System, a 332-foot rocket designed to reach the moon

The Chinese space station will weigh about 66 tons after it's fully built out, significantly lighter than the ISS at 455 tons.

China has said it looks forward to inviting international astronauts to its space station. In October, three Chinese astronauts with the Shenzhou-13 spacecraft docked at the station, becoming the second crew to move in.

Tang on the Chinese space station won’t be an orange drink.

It will be the last name of one of the Chinese astronauts.

That's odd, we call one of our Moon Rockets the Space Launch System too. It is also 322 feet tall. Revell must have finally come out with a model.

The Chinese compulsively copy things the USA did decades ago.

Hypersonic missiles?

The USA was building hypersonic aircraft in the 1960s.

From memory, the program was cancelled because of stealth technology and terrain scanning radar, which cost a fraction of the budget for hypersonic.

Has anyone ever shot down a USA long range sub-sonic cruise missile? Has anyone ever shot down a USA stealth recon UAV?

If yes, it takes just minutes and a couple million dollars to replace them on a battlefield.

Hypersonic nuclear armed missiles might make Iran and North Korea more dangerous.

But, for super powers like China, Russia, and the USA, hypersonic sounds like hugely expensive overkill.
