I agree that the current crop of all-to-clever “military imbeciles” have us wrapped up in the gain-of-function pursuits with huge sums of money. These days when I hear “Wuhan lab,” I think of the larger US military-medical-industrial complex which is, as above, imbecilic. And dirty-handed as are the Chinese Communists.

When one jumps in the communal pool, one is swimming in the same water as others in that pool. The pool is the CDC-FortDetrick-Eco-alliance and their Chinese allies. So do I think this trail of tears to be. Corrupt and imbecilic and massively risky. But profitable for the few.
