That’s what I’m saying. One of my best friends is a fairly high ranking cop (commander). Very nice dude, would do anything for me. Anything, that is, unless it would jeopardize his pension 🤣.
He’s adamantly against the vax, I got his wife a supply of ivermectin, but he admits freely that if it came down to his pension, he would jab up.
The amount of money these law enforcement departments get, and waste, is staggering. I’m talking Federal, state, county and local departments.
Whenever I joke about how much he’s costing us he says “I guess this would be a bad time to ask for a raise?”
He’s working so many hours these days I hardly see him. This means he’s probably going to retire within two years. Their pension is based on how much they make during their last two years of “service”.
Pension over patriotism. Got it.
