Antimatter is much like the matter that makes up everything around us, with one important difference: its particles have the opposite electric charge.

Gross oversimplification!

E.g.: The neutron has no charge, yet also has an anti-particle: the antineutron.

Gross over simplifications are necessary for the regular person in this matter.

If it wasn’t simplified, no one could follow it.

It’s either big bang or dark matter.
