Interesting comment. When I was a lad circa 1960, my mother's step dad said the same thing would happen. He was an ardent patriot and machinist. Obviously he had great foresight. He was talking then about the USSR, not China though. He was an interesting man. Okinawa battle vet and knew had to do just about anything mechanical. Whenever there was a problem, he would ask me if I knew how to fix it. Of course I did not so he would say you can do it under my watch and then you will know how to do it yourself. Minor car repairs, most plumbing and electrical I can do till this day!

Thank you for this. Back in the early 1980’s I had the “pleasure” of working with a Chinese “scientist” in Tampa. Nobody in our lab trusted him with anything. We all knew that the only way he was allowed out of the country was because he was a Commie. His wife and family remained in China, and he was allowed to return there every so often. This type of collaboration was becoming more common even back then. Oh, and what was my lab studying? Among other things, AIDS.

Fauci has been approving grants since I worked at that lab way back when. He’s the one approving of the studies and who gets to study them. He knows they are communists and he has never cared.
