This was not a blunder on Donald Trump’s part. He did expedite the development and beginnings of the distribution of the mRNA vaccines, a frankly experimental medical advance, but the tool was very badly misused. It was meant only to protect the most vulnerable of patients who acquired COVID-19 Wuhan virus, and was to be used only under emergency authorization use rules, until other more stable and certain methods of therapeutic care became available. Well, two stable and certain therapies were quickly found to be available, both the ivermectin treatment, and the hydroxychloroquine-zinc-azithromycin protocol, but these were quickly outlawed by the authorities because they would have made the mRNA vaccines no longer eligible for EUA.
The shunning of these two effective and relatively inexpensive treatments was exacerbated by a couple of strategies, one of which was to threaten medical practitioners with loss of license if they continued to prescribe these courses of treatment, and the lobbying efforts to stop all trials involving the use of either of these two treatments, which provided a rapid cession of symptoms, in the few trials that were conducted.
That, plus a generous reward to hospitals for taking in COVID-19 patients, made the practice of not providing treatment on an outpatient basis the main focus of treatment, allowing the disease to progress until only “heroic” measures, like ventilators and really serious antibiotic treatments, had even a fair chance of avoiding death. Thus were the death counts greatly increased, feeding into the fear porn that surrounded the incidence of the COVID-19 infections.
When the only tool in the kit you are allowed to use is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. But the mRNA vaccines quickly became a wrecking bar, which did not stop in any way, shape, form, or manner, the spread, or the later immunity, to the occurrence of the disease. Besides the breakthrough cases, after the injection, in many persons, the vaccines themselves had a number of adverse side effects, not the least of which was the inflammation of the tissues of the heart, and sometimes serious nerve damage. Any of these would have been enough to bring about suspension of the injections, in a sane and reasonable world, where the authorities were concerned with the real science and the facts of the matter.
And the ban on the use of ivermectin or the hydroxychloroquine-zinc-azithromycin protocol would be lifted, causing COVID-19 to become no more of an inconvenience than most strains of influenza, and allowing all the restrictions regarding masks, vaccine passports, lockdowns, and supply chain disruptions to be lifted, and get back to business as before, with makeup being a new spur to REAL economic growth again.
But perhaps there never will be any going back to the way things were.

Well written... The tool is being used as control of the population. My sister in-law has until Feb 1 to comply.
Her heath is bad and the vaccine might kill her. She had delta already and was very sick from it. The vaccine risk is not worth it at this point.
Hopefully, our Supreme court protects the American People. If not, she will be fired from her job like many others across America. When people are without a job due to the vaccine what will they do with their free time?
Maybe we need to follow Antifa/BLM examples, since they were peacefully protesting.
