I went thru it in 1973; never got over it with my would-be fiancée, at Sloan-Kettering in NYC. We never got married after that trauma. I still miss her.

Happened to me while I was married. She got pregnant (by me I hope) and aborted it without ever telling me.

I found out about it during the divorce (she was also unfaithful).

I can’t even stand to look her in the eye now.

I’m sorry you’re in such pain over this. I’ve had 4 miscarriages and I still mourn them, but I can’t even imagine your pain. I hope you ended up having children later in your life though.

April of 1971. We got married one year later (go figure), but because of damage from the abortion my wife could never get pregnant, so I have no children. She died at 45 from aggressive breast cancer that I’m positively convinced stemmed from the abortion.
