My take is that it’s uneconomical to budget resources for a weather condition that happens once a decade. Just another time when bed wetting liberals expect the govt to bail them out.

Virginia does get sufficient enough snow to warrant snowplows and salt at least once a year.
Salt doesn’t have an expiration date, and the trucks used with the snowplows are useful all year round.
You are astute. Bur the budgeting was already accomplished by a liberal government and it failed again. Liberals are real good at making up worthless actions designed to create a feel good atmosphere of nothing more than a sham to garnish votes in the next election. Look at all the gun legislation they have created to be the answer to every question that was already answered. Then they blamed the gun for the failure of their policies. The only difference here is they are blaming a person for not arguing with their stupidity. The snow could always have been there and it is not going to be them to admit they screwed up due to reiteration.
